Toys also for the children of Ivory Coast

The toy “parade” of the President of the Youth Federation of the PDGE, and Second Vice President of the Republic, H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, this year crosses Equatorial Guinea’s borders, because it reaches as far as Ivory Coast, where 100,000 toys will be distributed. Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro represented the Second Vice President at the first ceremony of gift-giving to children of the capital, Abidjan.

The toy drive that is carried out every year by the Second Vice President and President of the Youth Federation of the PDGE, H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, this year also traveled to Ivory Coast, so the joy could also reach the children of this country, which is starting to return to normal after a season of instability.

The Second Vice President recently traveled to Abidjan and met with the President of the National Assembly of Ivory Coast, Guillaume Soro, in order to arrange the transfer and distribution of no less than 100,000 toys, for another 100,000 children across the country.

After this trip, a first shipment of toys sent by the African ‚ÄúSanta Claus” reached the Ivorian capital, where on Sunday, December 28 the first ceremony of toy distribution took place, held at the Sofitel Hotel, attended by both the President of the Assembly and the Secretary General of the PDGE, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, representing H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue. Hundreds of children from different towns in the province of Abidjan went to collect their gifts.

During the ceremony, Guillaume Soro, said that this magic moment that the children were experiencing was possible thanks to the generosity of the Second Vice President of Equatorial Guinea, who decided to make this donation to the National Assembly of Ivory Coast. Soro also announced that the shipment of 100,000 toys will be distributed among the 31 regions of the country, so that the children throughout the country can receive their gifts.

Meanwhile, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro transmitted to those present the message of the Second Vice President who, among other things, told the children that they are the hope and future of the African continent.
