Within the project “Removing Nipa Roofs”, the Second Vice President, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue resumed in Nsork the campaign of distributing zinc plates, which will continue throughout the national territory.
On Friday, August 10, took place the resumption of the national campaign of donation of zinc plates driven by the Second Vice President, Head of Defense and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, and directed at citizens living in houses with nipa roofs.
The campaign, which distributes safely and effectively zinc plates to disadvantaged families and those people in rural areas whose roofs are built with nipa, has resumed in the district of Nsork and, according to the established program, will continue on in the districts of Aconibe, Añisok and Mongomo, ending the tour in the province of Wele-Nzas.
The first area where the personal initiative of the Second Vice President was implemented ‑which aims to improve the quality of life of the poorest rural populations in the country- was the Niefang district, on August 6. After traveling to all the village councils and municipalities in this district, they reached Acurenam and Evinayong, the capital of Centro Sur, where the tour ended, which left over 110,000 sheets in this province.
This is not the first social initiative of Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, who has already carried out many works of this kind throughout the country, such as building schools, health centers, housing for teachers, neighborhood houses, etc.
