The first Council of Ministers of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea was held last Friday in Bata, under the chairmanship of the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
This first Council meeting of 2012 focused its study and analysis on nine main points among which were: the Draft of the General Labor Law in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the draft decree establishing the Aeronautical Authority of Guinea Equatorial, the Draft Decree of the agreement to expropriate farms located on the right side of the arterial road 4 and linking with the motorway and the road to Luba, for the construction of a public housing complex for members of the CEMAC Parliament, and the Draft Decree which separates structurally and functionally the Department of Highway Tolls and Maintenance from the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructures, and assigns it to the Presidency of the Republic.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers focused their discussions on various reports, such as: the study on the future prospects of oil up to 5 years, the report on the connection of high-voltage power line of the hydroelectric Plant of Djibloho to the cities of the Continental Region and the justification for the current income of the months of July, August, September, October, November and December of last year, 2011.
