Luanda – The Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, is expected to watch the Thursday’s session of training of the national senior males football team.
This was announced to Angop in Luanda by the press officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, António Muachilela.
The Angolan squad are preparing for the match against Guinea Bissau on October 9, for group J’s second round qualifying for the African Cup of Nations (CAN2010) to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
The training session is going to happen at Luanda’s “11 de Novembro” Stadium at 4 p.m.
In the first round, Angola lost to Uganda by 3-0, while Guinea Bissau beat Kenya by 1-0.
Uganda and Guinea Bissau lead the group with three points each, while Angola and Kenya come third and fourth, respectively.
