The content of the message sent by the President of the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, Manuel Pinto da Costa, was a greeting for the Christmas and New Year. The delivery of this message was made by the Vice President of the ruling party, the Movement for the Liberation of Sao Tome and Principe (MLSTP), Ana Isabel Meira Rita.
This audience, held at the People’s Palace of Malabo, in the presence of the Delegate Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Pedro Ela Nguema Buna, has served for President Obiang and Meira Rita to speak of the ties of friendship and cooperation between the governments and peoples of Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe, as well as to review the relationship between the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE) and MLSTP.
On the same day, the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea granted an audience to the special envoy of Chad. It was the Minister of the Presidency of the Republic, Head of Infrastructures and Equipment, Gata Ngoulou, who was accompanied by the special counselor in charge of finance and the ambassador of that country in Equatorial Guinea, Ngaryenan Nahari. The meeting served to deliver to H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo the message sent by his brother and Chadian counterpart, Idriss Deby.
In a meeting with reporters, the special envoy expressed the excellent relations between Equatorial Guinea and his country, and congratulated the Head of State for the organization and smooth running of the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Summit. The Equatorial Guinean President was assisted in this audience by the Minister of Finance and Budgets, Marcelino Owono Edu, and the Delegate Minister of Foreign Affairs.
