Nigeria striker Perpetua Nkwocha is hoping to win the CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year for an unprecedented fourth time.
The 35-year old has been nominated for the award alongside South African Nompumelelo Nyandeni and Miriam Paixao Silva of Equatorial Guinea.
The Super Falcons captain is unarguably one of the finest female footballers of her generation having won the topmost award in 2004, 2005 and 2010.
The winner will be unveiled on December 22 during the CAF Awards Gala in Accra, Ghana.
