Dolphins manager, Stanley Eguma has described their Caf Champions League first round opponents, Sony de Nguema of Equatorial Guinea as good acid test for his wards.
The Nigerian campaigners will be on road trip against the Equatorial Guinean champions in the weekend of February 17 while they will play host to the Central African state in Port Harcourt in the first weekend of March.
Eguma told SuperSport.com that they will prepare hard to overcome their first most important test.
“It’s a good test for us which will determine how far we will go in the competition.
“They surely are strong side being champions of their country.
“We must be prepared to pass the hurdle.
“I know the management and players are mindful of the task ahead.”
The former Dream Team V assistant coach who admitted to little knowledge of the Guinean opponents insisted they will not underrate them.
“We don’t know much about them.
“The draws just came out but before the first leg match we will get information about them.
