Messages of congratulations from the President of the Equatorial Guinea

The messages from the Head of State were addressed to the Presidents of Zimbabwe, Sierra Leona, Tanzania and Togo for the commemoration of their National Independence Day.

The first was addressed to Robert Gabriel Mugabe, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe:

“The commemoration of this date, April 18, 2012, is a magnificent opportunity for the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, which joins with its sister country of Zimbabwe in this significant and transcendental occasion.

We express our hope for the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that happily exist between our two countries to be increasingly reinforced, in mutual benefit of our two respective countries.”

The following message was for Ernest Bai Koroma, President of the Republic of Sierra Leona, whose country celebrates its National Independence on April 27:

“I am pleased to send to Your Excellency and the sister country of Sierra Leona, on behalf of the people of Equatorial Guinea and myself, our most sincere and effusive congratulations for such a significant event.”

Also on the date of April 27, the Republic of Togo commemorates its independence, whose President, Faure Essozimna, was sent another message of congratulations by the Head of State:

“The commemoration of the National Day of our beautiful sister country, on the upcoming date of April 27, 2012, it is a magnificent opportunity for the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to join with our sister country of Togo in this significant and transcendental occasion.

We hope that the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation, which happily exist between our two countries, are increasingly reinforced, in mutual benefit of our two respective countries.”

And finally, for Jakaya Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, which on April 26 celebrates its national independence day:

“I am pleased to send to Your Excellency and our sister country of Tanzania, on behalf of the people of Equatorial Guinea and myself, our most sincere and effusive congratulations for such a significant event.”
