The new building, with over 9,000 square meters and equipped with the latest technology, will be the work headquarters of judges and magistrates of Malabo. The cost of the construction has been 6,882,472,685 CFA francs, fully funded by the Government.
During the opening ceremony, which was held immediately after the opening of the Judicial Year, the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Juan Nko Mbula, thanked the President of the nation for drive in the continued construction of works and projects for the country’s development.
For his part, the President recalled that the construction of the building symbolizes the importance the Government gives to the proper administration of justice: “We demand the best performance of judges and magistrates, but one cannot work without the best facilities” said the Head of State. After cutting the ribbon, the President of the Supreme Court, Martin Ndong Nsue, showed the details of the new building and new offices to H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and those accompanying him
