Equatorial Guinea’s capital Malabo, would host a Solo Exhibition of Made-in-Ghana goods organised by the Ghana Export Promotion Council (GEPC) from November 20-30.
The exhibition under the auspices of Ministry of Trade and Industry and in collaboration with the Equatorial Guinea’s Bioko Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Forestry, is a follow up to President John Evans Atta Mills’ recent trip to the country.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by Mr Stephen
Normeshie, Deputy Director of Internal Audit of GEPC on Wednesday to the
Ghana News Agency in Accra. “The Solo Exhibition therefore is a direct response to the need to deepen bilateral trade between both countries”, it said.
The release said a research team had been sent ahead of the scheduled time to gather critical information, prepare the grounds as well as whip up enthusiasm towards the event. “Information gathered during the mission reveals that the people of Equatorial Guinea are interested in Made-In-Ghana goods as well as joint venture arrangements with Ghanaian businesses”, it added.
