“South Africa has a strong home ground support base. Nonetheless, I can say with confidence that Equatorial Guinea play better football when they face teams with home ground advantage. We are not afraid of the South Africans,” Mbiha assures.
The players are equally up beat going into the all-important semi final. They aim to become the first team from Equatorial Guinean to qualify for a Fifa World Cup.
“We are going to maintain the same system of play as our coach has instructed us. Our aim is to play a better game than we did against Ghana who we beat 3-1 in our last group match,” says Genoveva.
