H.E. President of the Republic, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on Tuesday received in audience the Ambassador of France in Malabo, François Barateau, to review the relations between France and Equatorial Guinea.
In the presence of the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophone Affairs, Pastor Micha Ondo Bile, the French diplomat and Founding President of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea have conducted a review of the relations of friendship and cooperation that bind Malabo and Paris.
-“The relations have not changed, because there is a very strong background,” stated Barateau to the press once the meeting was over.
This is the first meeting held by H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo with the French Ambassador, after the election of François Hollande to the French presidency.
