A delegation from the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Equatorial Guinea has begun, since last week, to deliver batches of medicines and other healthcare articles to all national hospitals.
In order to provide the population with free healthcare in some respects, the Department of Health, since last week, is making the delivery of medicines to various hospitals in our capital.
The material being distributed consists of medicine, beds and mattresses, gloves and condoms, among others.
An entity that has benefited from this delivery was the Ministry of Defense, both on the island and in the mainland, having received approximately 56,700 condoms free of charge. This donation fulfills the Multisectoral Plan to Fight HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
