posted by – February 1st, 2013

-“The first headquarters of the Naval Forces to be built in the country is part of the program plan conceived by the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea in this sector,”said the Delegate Minister of National Defense, Vicente Eya Olomo, in his speech given for that occasion.

The President of the Republic, besides confirming that this is the first headquarters that the Government builds for the Naval Forces since the country’s access to national sovereignty in 1968, gave those in charge of the sector instructions for the conservation and maintenance of this complex, built by the Chinese company Hong Shu Ling, under the full funding of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

It is composed of 294 apartments, 27 two-story houses, plazas, sports fields, armory, conference rooms and offices, among other rooms.
