Last week, the President and Chairman of the African Union sent congratulatory messages to the King of Spain and Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of Spain, on the occasion of Columbus Day, and the President of the Republic of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Scileaf, for achieving the Nobel Peace Prize.
