Last Friday, the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received in audience Vladimir Elekseivich Matuja, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, responsible for Mines, Energy and Coal Industry, and Mohamed Chambas, Secretary General of the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP).
H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo received Vladimir Elekseivich in the company of the Minister of Mines, Industry and Energy of Equatorial Guinea, Marcelino Owono Edu. The visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine was due to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, in representation of his country and their presence in the laying of the first stone in the construction of the hydroelectric Plant of Sendje.
On the same day, the President of the Republic received the Secretary General of the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP), Mohamed Chambas, who conveyed his gratitude for having agreed to host for the first time in Equatorial Guinea the ACP Summit.
Victoriana Nchama Nsue Okomo, Secretary of State for International Cooperation assisted the Head of State in the meeting.
