The Minister of Foreign Trade, Zafer Caglayan, is carrying out an African tour, beginning with Nigeria, but he will also visit Ghana and Equatorial Guinea. Caglayan travels accompanied by a group of Turkish businessmen, interested in investing in the African countries and promoting commercial exchange between both sides.
After visiting Nigeria, Caglayan will also travel to Ghana, before reaching Equatorial Guinea, where he is expected to meet with President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and with some members of the Government.
The volume of trade interchange between Equatorial Guinea and Turkey was 20 million dollars during 2010. Compared to previous years, the progression is clear.
