Uganda boss Bobby Williamson is confident that the Cranes can qualify for the 2012 African Nations Cup by topping Group J.
The East African nation currently top the group with four points from their first two games following a 3-0 victory over Angola 3-0 and a goalless draw away to Kenya.
“I believe Uganda are the best team based on what I’ve seen so far,” Williamson told BBC Sport.
“No disrespect to Guinea-Bissau whom I haven’t seen, but if they’re better than us they must be a hell of a team.”
Uganda have not qualified for the continental tournament since 1978, when they lost in the final, however Williamson is determined to book his side a place in the competition to be held in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
“I could say Uganda are the best team in the group, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the best team will win it.
“There’s football still to be played.”
