This Friday, October 28, begins the campaign on the new Constitutional Reform. The opening ceremony which was held in Malabo, was chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), in his capacity as campaign manager and on behalf of the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
On the afternoon of Friday, October 28, at the Conference Center of Banapa, the presidents of neighborhood communities, councilors, mayors, cabinet ministers, members of political parties and citizens of Malabo in general met to attend the opening ceremony of the campaign of the Constitutional Reform referendum.
The event was chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the PDGE, as campaign manager, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, representing the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Within the program established in this meeting, the agenda was read by the Secretary General of the PDGE, Lucas Nguema Esono. The event also highlighted the activities of the legally recognized political parties: UD, ADP, PSD, UP, UDS, PSCD, among others, who showed their support for the reforms and invited the general public to vote next November 13.
The ceremony ended with the words of Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, on behalf of H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, informing all present about the reforms to be carried out and invited everyone to vote yes in the referendum.
