Presentation in Bata of the magazine Oráfrica

The presentation, made by the head of the Laboratory of Oral Resources, Mariano Ekomo Emaga, took place in the center’s auditorium, in the presence of its leaders, members of this laboratory and Bata citizens who benefited from free copies of the new issue.

Oráfrica was founded in Spain with the aim of a monographic study of issues relating to African society, literature and oral history and the mythical and religious traditions of oral sources.

Other goals are: to promote research and exchange of views and knowledge about Africa and its oral traditions bring to light the work performed by Oral Resources Laboratories in Equatorial Guinea and the rest of Africa, and create awareness in educational and academic centers of the importance of the study of oral cultures.
