On Monday, March 2, the exhibition of agricultural and essential products was opened in the Guinean Cultural Center on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day.
With the slogan “Empowerment of Women,” women from different associations met in the Guinean Cultural Center of Malabo to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition of agricultural products, handicrafts and delicacies.
The inauguration was presided over by the Director of Social Affairs and Gender Equality, Flavia Obono, assisted by the District Delegate of Malabo, Emerenciana Nko Ivasa, and some heads of the cultural center.
During the event, the Director stressed in her speech the importance of this exhibit, whose goal is the empowerment of women, offering them the opportunity of displaying the work carried out.
After her brief speech, they proceeded to cut the ribbon and visit the exhibit.
