Guinea Bissau national team return home


Luanda – The national senior males football team of Guinea Bissau travelled on Sunday morning back to their country, after having played Angola in Luanda’s 11 de Novembro stadium on Saturday, in the group J’s second round qualifying for the Orange African Cup of Nations (CAN2012) to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The Guinean delegation, led by the minister of National Education, Culture, Science, Youth and Sports, Artur Silva, was integrated by federation officials, coaches and players.

Guinea Bissau lost on Saturday to Angola by 0-1.

For the third round, Guinea Bissau will face Uganda, while Angola will play Kenya.
