Nairobi, Kenya – France-based Kenyan striker Dennis Oliech jetted into Nairobi Sunday night, ahead of Saturday’s 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Uganda. He is the first foreign-based professional to arrive here for the crucial tie. Oliech, also the Kenya national team, Harambee Stars captain, turns out for French Division One side Auxerre.
According to team manager Edward Oduor, Oliech did not train with the team at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani on Monday as he was given time to attend to personal matters before reporting to camp Tuesday.
Kenya is playing Angola, Equatorial Guinea and Uganda in Group J of the qualifiers.
