Equatorial Guineas envoy arrives in Luanda

 Luanda – The deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophone of the Equatorial Guinea, Eustáquio Nseng Esono, arrived on Thursday afternoon in Luanda, where he will hand over to the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, a message from the Central African country’s president Teodoro Obiang Nguema.

According to a source within the diplomatic representation of the Spanish-speaking country in Angola, the special envoy of Teodoro Obiang Nguema will be received yet on Thursday by the president of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos.

Meanwhile, the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, George Chicoty, said Wednesday in Luanda that the arrival in the country of distinguished personalities linked to Ivory Coast’s dossier “points out the importance of Angola’s standing on the crisis in the West African nation.

He underlined that Angola is against the use of force and the Southern African country always called on the international community in order to seek peaceful means for the resolution of the crisis.
