The group of French companies working in our country has issued a brief statement, reaffirming their commitment to Equatorial Guinea.
The brief statement released by the group of French companies settled in Equatorial Guinea says exactly:
“The French companies established in Equatorial Guinea are proud to actively contribute, with our proven experience, to the economic and social modernization that Equatorial Guinea is undergoing.
We are aware of the trust placed in us and of the privileged place our Equatorial Guinean partners have reserved for us, thus recognizing our skills and capabilities, appreciated by the people and the authorities of Equatorial Guinea.
We reaffirm our commitment to Equatorial Guinea and our desire to continue the close cooperation that is beneficial to both parties.”
The statement comes in response to tensions experienced recently between the two countries, following the attacks of French judicial institutions to legitimate property of the State of Equatorial Guinea and the accusations against the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.
