Luanda – The African continent will be in frenetic motion this weekend with the kick-off of the qualifiers for the Africa Nations Cup (CAN2012), set to take place in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
This is despite the fact that three rounds for group K have already taken place.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) delayed the opening of qualifiers in July this year, due to the inclusion of Togo in group K, which has the highest number of teams (5). Angola’s national team will be seeking its sixth appearance in the event, having for that purpose travelled to Kampala, to play Uganda in a group J qualifier match at weekend. Guinea Bissau and Kenya will play in Bissau for the same group.
