Botswana national team head coach Stanely Tshosane has expressed his excitement about the prospect of facing Bafana Bafana in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Botswana were drawn in Group A together with South Africa, Cenral African Republic and either Somalia or Ethopia.
The Zebras are currently riding the crest of wave after qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon next year.
“I was not the only person excited; the people from Botswana are also excited about playing against Bafana Bafana,” Tshosane told KickOff.com after watching his team beat Swaziland 2-0 in a friendly at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday.
“I think is a fair draw and we will treat each team equally because it will be no use beating South Africa and losing the other games. We are definitely looking forward to the qualifying games and achieving our dreams of playing in the World Cup in 2014.”
The Zebras are currently in camp at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria in preparation for their next Nations Cup qualifier against Togo in September.
