Black Stars Arrive In Kumasi

A strong team made up  of mostly players that represented the nation at the last world cup in South Africa arrived in Kumasi to a rousing welcome yesterday in preparation for the CAN 2012 qualifier against Sudan at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The team was led by acting captain John Mensah who is optimistic of leading the Stars to victory to brighten their chances of qualifying for the 2012 African Nations Cup which will be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Other players that were in the team include Sunderland’s Asamoah Gyan, John Painstil, Anthony Annan, Agyemang-Badu, Samuel Inkoom and Prince Tagoe.
