H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has held an audience this Thursday with the chairman of the Forum of Operators for the Guarantee of Economic Emergence in Africa, Amadou Diagne, in the People’s Palace of Malabo.
The purpose of the meeting –in which the Equatoguinean President was assisted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy- was to present to H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo the organization of the African private sector, the Forum des Opérateurs pour la Garantie de l‘Emergenceen Afrique (FOGECA); its objectives and the plan for the 2012/2013 period.
During the audience, the Head of State was also issued the invitation to attend the conference that FOGECA will organize the upcoming month of December in the city of Dakar (Republic of Senegal).
FOGECA is an African organization created on September 7, 2007, which has as its objectives the promotion of the African economy in the sectors of infrastructures, mines, energy, agriculture, handicrafts, fishing trade; as well as the creation and installation of cells of economic operators in Africa and in the diaspora, the promotion of the most disadvantaged groups of the society and the fight against poverty, among others. The organization currently brings together around 800 businessmen and economic operators.
